Mrs. W. A. Crowley

Mrs. William A. (Maria Ann) Crowley, 70, of 1202 N. Maplewood Ave., a lifelong resident of Peoria died at 6:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in Peoria, April 10, 1891, she was the daughter of Siebold Gustaf and Margaret Koopman Reuter. She married William A. Crowley June 25, 1913, in Peoria.

A member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, she was also a member of the Catholic Women's League, St. Mark's Sodality, and the Navy Mother's Club.

Surviving are two sons, William A. Jr., and Jerome, both of Peoria; two daughters, Mrs. James (Angela) Kenny of Peoria and Mrs. Michael (Margaret) Dentino of Overland, Kan., and 20 grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Herman, John and Henry Reuter.

Funeral services ill be held at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Boland Mortuary and 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church where the Rev. James M. Fitzgerald of that church will officiate. Internment will be in the St. Mary's Cememtery. Visitation will be after 3 this afternoon at the mortuary where the Catholic Woman's League will recite the Rosary at 3:30 p.m. The parish Rosary will be recited at 8 tonight.
