I wrote this note to you last night but I couldn't get it to send, so I'm starting over.I don't have any history of the Reents family but I can tell you that your great grandparents were lovely people. I had the privilege of staying on their farm whien I was eight years old,with your grandmother Virginia and had a great time, until it was dark out and I had to go to the bathroom and it was outside!!!!! Those were the days!
Margaret Reuter,your grandpa's grandma, was born in Jeverland, Germany, on October 13,1860. She was baptized and confirmed in the lutheran faith. In 1880, she was married to Gustav Reuter, and 5 years later they came to live in the U.S.A. They had four children ,Henry, John,Herman and Anna Maria,our Mother. Her three sons preceded her in death.Grandma was the daughter of Harm and Marie Tobin Koopman.
