| Note | I heard that he was from a princely family in India. When I visited India some years ago, the name Sampath was popular -- merchant shops etc. I also bought a novel entiled Mr. Sampath by a famous Indian novelist. He was a devoted churchman of the P resbyterian Church and it's records have info. re: his activities and passing, but nothing about his wife. I visited the gravesite and the names etc were all washed out.
