| Note | Joseph-Auguste se marie le 3 octobre 1890 avec Marie-Anne Victoire Strauel. Auguste et sa femme sont cousins au troisième degré. Selon le curé Levy de Grussenheim, Auguste était Postagent, mais les documents de l'administration allemande lors de la seconde guerre mondiale attestent plutôt du métier de cordonnier. Il est probable que sa femme et lui exerçaient les deux métiers, la poste ne générait pas une grosse activité dans un village de moins de 1000 habitants à la fin du 19ème siècle. |
