---------------------
* Since nothing is known about these last two children, they do not appear on the Bianco genealogy, and their dates conflict with Catherine's subsequent marriages in other sources, I'm leaving them off this genealogy for the time being. |
Death | The Moser genealogy lists the date as just the year 1723. |
Note | A number of genealogies list his first wife as Catherine Rohmer (m. 1695) with children Jean Martin (1696), Anne-Barbara (1698) and Mathias (17 05?).
They list his second wife as Barbara Uhlmann in 1698, with son Martin born in 1699.
In the Moser genalogy, Martin's Jehl's death date is 1723, at the age of 43 years, rather than 1699. His first wife, Catherine Rohmer, was said to have died in 1698. This would work except that these genealogies also state that Catherine Rohmer remarried a 2nd husband, Antoine Huffel, in 1699 (one year after her death), and a 3rd husband, Andre Schmitt, in 1715 (17 years after her death, while Martin would have been alive).
Since all the genealogies list Catherine Rohmer's second and third husbands, I have chosen to use the dates provided by the genealogies that make all of these marriages possible.
If you have any other data that I should know, please contact the administrators of this database. |
Note | This is probably NOT the Martin Jehl (I2160)--who died in 1700. That Martin was already a farmer in 1675, when this Martin was only 5 years old. |
